GERALD H. LEE

Chief Financial Officer

Gerald Lee oversees the fiscal operation of Lee Risk Management Inc. and serves on its Board of Directors.  Mr. Lee re-joined the family business in January, 2018 after serving as the Operations and Financial Manager of Arts Material Service (AMS) a hardware manufacturer in the art and picture framing industry from 1999-2017.  He was instrumental in managing all fiscal operations including payroll, human resources, and financial management of the company. He guides AMS through the Great Recession of 2008 and secured multiple rounds of financing in excess of $3 million per round.

 

Prior to his tenure at AMS, Mr. Lee was the Sales and Marketing Manager at Harold L. Lee & Sons Travel Services Inc.  Lee Travel from 1983-1997.  Lee Travel founded in the late 1940’s by his father and managed by his mother, Lilian Lee to serve the growing Asian immigrant population migrating to New York and the US.

Lee Travel like Lee Insurance were pioneers in the travel and insurance business for the Chinese community.  Henry and Lilian Lee of Lee Travel became one of the first tour operators to enter China in the early  1970’s.  Since his childhood, Gerald Lee traveled extensively with his parents who were entrenched in the industry to give him a global perspective and deep understanding of many diverse cultures and communities.  He has interfaced  with the diplomatic and international community, and worked with embassies, consulates, government entities and trade offices throughout New York City and State.

 

Gerald Lee brings a skill set in international relations, an understanding of public entity and government affairs and fiscal integrity to Lee Risk Management Inc.  It was a natural for him to offer his broad financial expertise, analysis and ties to the business community.  He offers vision and discipline which can take Lee Risk Management to the next level of expansion and opportunity.

 

Mr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hamilton College and a Masters in Business Administration from Baruch College/CUNY.
