Clayton Young is a Managing Director for Lee Risk Management Inc. whose responsibility is to advance best risk management practices for clients and team of brokers. He is assigned to special projects where he advises clients promotes sound risk management and reviews documents, He has decades of experience in insurance, risk management, investments and finance.
Prior to working for LRM, Mr. Young was Assistant Treasurer and Director of Investments, Insurance and Risk Management at ITT Corporation, a multinational industrial conglomerate. He also served as Assistant Treasurer and Director at one of ITT’s spin-offs, Excelis Inc., a defense contractor, to oversee its multi-billion dollar pension and savings plan portfolios and as well as its risk management program, including insurance procurement, loss control and claims management.
Mr. Young is active in charitable affairs and serves as Treasurer, Elder and immediate past President of the Board of Trustees of Second Presbyterian Church, on the Board of Trustees of the Presbytery of New York City, the Investment Committee of the YMCA of Greater New York, and the Finance Committee of the West Side YMCA.
Mr. Young graduated with a BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania and later received his MBA in Management and Finance from The Wharton School. He has received his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
