Lee Risk Management Inc. with its predecessor name, Harold L. Lee & Sons, Inc. became active in providing services to public entities, joint venturing with large multinational public insurance brokerage houses and offering direct insurance placement to city and state agencies since the early 1990’s.  One of its first contracts was working the Consortium of Minority Brokers to provide full insurance coverage for the Democratic National Committee and the 1992 Democratic National Convention.  From that successful program, where there were minimal claims, a substantial savings in premium for the client compared to previous conventions and comprehensive risk management and loss control, it put Lee Insurance on the map. Lee Insurance was sought after to participate in other public entity insurance and joint ventures with majority brokers.

Before long, Lee Insurance became active in placement and risk management for a number of public entities and agencies such as the NYC Economic Development Corporation, NYC Housing Authority, NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation, the MTA, Long Island Railroad, MetoNorth, US General Services Agency, US Small Business Administration and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York.

 

Today Lee Risk Management assists and helps manage a portfolio of insurance services for specific coverage such as Boiler & Machinery, Workers Compensation, Directors & Officers  Liability, Cyber Liability,  Crime/Fidelity, Professional/Management Liability, Property and General Liability. Services provided include There is also strong expertise and focus on Claims management, loss control services and Risk Management.

 

Active NYS MBE/WBE Certification

 

Active Certification as Minority Owned Enterprise and Women Owned Enterprise in New York State until 2024 when recertification will be secured.
